Individual 50-minute sessions are $150. Payment can be made by credit card or e-transfer through OWL. After your appointment, you’ll receive an invoice. Once payment is received and recorded, you’ll also receive a receipt.
No. A lot of people begin therapy knowing something isn’t sitting right, but they don’t have a neat explanation for why. Part of the work is making sense of what’s going on, getting clearer on what’s keeping you stuck, and figuring out what kind of support might actually help.
Yes. Therapy is confidential and protected under Ontario privacy legislation (PHIPA). There are a few legal limits to confidentiality, such as situations involving risk of serious harm to yourself or others. I’ll explain those clearly at the beginning of our work together so you know what to expect.
Yes. Research shows that virtual therapy is just as effective as in-person therapy for many concerns, including anxiety and mood-related difficulties. Plus, many people find that meeting from home makes it easier to feel comfortable, settled, and focused during sessions.
I work with teens 16+ and adults, and I do not provide therapy for children. I also do not offer crisis services, emergency care, or on-call support. If you are in immediate danger or experiencing a mental health emergency, please contact emergency services or a local crisis line right away.
Therapy is not one-size-fits-all, and sometimes a different level of care or a more specialized service is needed. If I’m not the right fit for what you need, I’ll do my best to help you find appropriate resources or referrals.
No, I do not direct bill insurance companies. Many extended health plans do cover psychotherapy, but coverage varies. It’s a good idea to check with your provider ahead of time to confirm what’s included under your plan.
Your appointment time is reserved just for you. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice to avoid being charged the full session fee.
Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, as well as missed sessions, are billed at the regular session rate, except in cases of emergency or serious illness.
If you’re running late, I’ll hold your appointment time for you, but the session will still end at the scheduled time.
I’m a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). That means I’ve completed my graduate training and am practicing under supervision while completing the final direct client hour requirement for full registration.
My work meets CRPO standards, and supervision is simply an added layer of professional support. It does not change the quality of care you receive.
